PacificCARE is delighted to be your one-stop community hub for a wealth of child care information, resources, and programs. Across our eight locations on Vancouver Island, we are dedicated to providing inclusive support and services to ensure the highest standard of care for your children.

Make it easier for families to find and access responsive and inclusive quality licensed and registered child care by providing information, support, resources and referral services to parents and child care providers across the province. The Ministry of Education and Child Care provides funding to CCRRs, which work in partnership with government to improve the accessibility, affordability, and quality of child care in all B.C. communities.

CCRR’s provide support services and consultations to all child care providers to foster quality inclusive care through services such as: workshops and training, networking opportunities, supportive program outreach, access to lending libraries, referrals to community resources, drop-in programs, and listing programs in a registry of licensed and registered-license not required (RLNR) child care providers.

A group experience for parents and their babies and young children. The program introduces adults and children to the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs, and stories together. Parents gain skills and confidence which can enable them to create positive family patterns during their children’s crucial early years. Children benefit from enjoyable, healthy early experiences with language and communication.

Through our partnership with Coastal Community Insurance and Magenta Insurance we offer Child Care Insurance Referrals to owner/operators of Registered License Not Required (RLNR) or Licensed Child Care Programs. In order to receive a child care insurance referral, child care providers must be an active PacificCARE Family Enrichment Society Member.

The Affordable Child Care Benefit is a monthly payment to help eligible families with the cost of child care. Factors like income, family size, and type of care determine how much support families can get.
