Blackberry Lane Children’s Center on Denman Island seeks an Early Childhood Educator/manager. The successful applicant will be ready to engage in a rewarding long-term position implementing innovative and dynamic approaches to early education.

Blackberry Lane Children’s Center requires that all applicants possess an ECE license or will be working towards obtaining it.

This is a unique opportunity for a kind, creative community minded educator who wishes to work within a supportive environment of open-minded board members and dedicated parent volunteers.

This special individual must be comfortable working alone with up to 6 children ages 2-5 and be able to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment at all times.  

Educator/Manager is needed 20-30 hours a week and compensation is $16-$19 an hour based on experience and education. Applicants must be prepared to start part-time training/assisting by late May.
