Annual General Meeting Time!!!

The Annual General meeting of the Pacific Child and Family Enrichment Society (PCFES) will be held October 18, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the meeting room at 3156 Barons Road (opposite Country Club Mall).
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of the society or joining the Board of Directors please email the PacificCARE Head Office in Nanaimo at pacificc@pacific-care.bc.ca. If you are currently a member and wish to put your name forward for the Board of Directors please use the Nomination Form found on the back page.
To give you a brief introduction and to wet your whistle to what your Society is about and how our Board of Directors operates , we have included information on the officers positions on the Board, and our Strategic Plan through to 2012.

Fall 2010 Society News

Board Meetings are usually held the Third Monday of each month at the Nanaimo office from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Occasionally meetings are held elsewhere within our region, please call 756-2022 or, 1-888-480-2273 to confirm.

Please indicate on the form below if you would consider being a volunteer at functions in your community; like an email copy of each months board minutes; be interested in becoming a board member; or to receive reminders of upcoming Board meetings and events.

Society Members - By becoming a member of the Society you will have the opportunity to vote for who will represent you on the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting usually held in the fall..

In addition, you may wish to become even more involved and become a Board Member. By becoming a Board member you will be directly involved in making decisions that affect delivery of services to children, parents and caregivers.

Note! Staff and immediate family members may become members of the society; however, may NOT hold a position on the Board due to conflict of interest.
